The reality show "life below zero" documents the arduous life several individuals endure to leave off the grid in Alaska. Intriguing at times, nerve racking and general a highly engaging show. At times the show does leave me with the feeling that somehow I am being looked down on because I don't live this rugged lifestyle. The reality of the situation, is that I have chosen a suburban life over a life living in a rural location whereby modern conveniences are readily available. At times it's arduous and a fight for survival. Don't miss understand me, I have complete respect for how the life below zero cast endure and succeed. I admire how thee approach situations and constantly develop innovate solutions. This reminds me to dig deep when solving problems and to have a calm mind to allow for maximum thought to take place.

Super Human Energy

Yes, we all wish we possessed this at times. But sustaining it is dangerous. Balance, balance balance. Trying my hardest to find the balance, professional, family, personal, friends, health, diet, exercise and spirituality. The motivator is doing it. The joy is the journey. There is no ending in balance, just knowing that the effort is made.

Hahahahahaha, the d-man comes strutting by dancing as I am working and listening to smooth jazz. You have to take the moments as gold. Pure gold. #lovebeingadad

You Have Choices

I can definitely feel the pain of feeling like you have no choices. But dig deep, they are there. It takes courage though to explore potential humbling options. This process cuts away the layers of the problem solving and creative process. Believe me, you have to be creative.

We Laughed During

Revelations were flying, ideas were being formulated all the while we share some laughter. Tonight is one of the most stressful, I am sure we will ever encounter but because of our deep connection and love, we actually laughed. The power of laughter should never be underestimated.
